About the role
Whatnot is building the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe. As Head of European and UK Policy you will shape global trust, safety and marketplace integrity policies with a focus on Europe, ensuring the platform protects buyers, supports sellers and scales responsibly.
Key responsibilities
- Author and evolve global policies on commerce, buyer and seller protection, fraud, and trust & safety.
- Apply a European lens to policy development, tracking emerging trends and cultural nuances.
- Leverage data and trend analysis to identify emerging risks and evaluate operational impact.
- Resolve escalated policy questions and provide principled recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between policy design, enforcement and user‑facing guidance.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading platform policy, trust & safety or marketplace integrity programs.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and defining clear direction.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to pressure‑test policy proposals.
- Excellent judgment and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
