Head of Facilities & Maintenance

About the role

Staycity Group is seeking a transformational leader to head Facilities & Maintenance for its Irish portfolio. This senior role will drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple aparthotel sites, ensuring that facilities and engineering services support a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient facilities and engineering services across a multi‑site portfolio.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve asset performance and reduce reactive maintenance.
• Optimize maintenance processes, enhance contractor performance, and deliver measurable commercial impact.
• Collaborate with operational teams and senior stakeholders to modernise ways of working and embed a culture of accountability.
• Champion continuous improvement, challenge inefficiencies, and raise standards across people, systems, and processes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving operational improvements.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop high‑performing teams.
• Curiosity and confidence to challenge traditional ways of working.
