HR Business Partner – Retail (West Dublin)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing retail organisation in West Dublin, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join the people team. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will partner with operational leaders across a network of stores, supporting roughly 750 employees and influencing people strategy while staying hands‑to‑day with day‑to‑day HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Retail Directors, Area Managers and Store Managers to deliver commercially focused HR advice.
• Manage complex employee‑relations cases from initial consultation through to resolution.
• Coach and develop managers on performance management, employee engagement and people leadership.
• Support organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives.
• Drive employee‑engagement and culture programmes across the business.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify capability gaps and deliver training.
• Assist Talent Acquisition with recruitment and talent initiatives.
• Analyse people data and trends to inform business decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including time as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
• Strong background in employee relations and handling complex people issues.
• Experience supporting fast‑paced environments such as retail, logistics or hospitality.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and influencing abilities.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how people initiatives impact business performance.
• Proactive, self‑directed and able to work independently.
