HR Generalist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a global software and technology services provider in Limerick. Reporting to the HR Director, you will deliver proactive HR support across local and international operations, helping to shape a high‑performing, engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees.
• Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
• Manage external recruitment projects and coordinate internal career moves with department heads.
• Assist with compensation and benefits matters and produce HR metrics and data reports.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to cultural programs.
• Support the HR Director in strategic planning and execution.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist or similar role.
• Degree‑level qualification in HR, Business Studies or a related discipline.
• Experience in the software, technology or professional services sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Self‑motivated with strong relationship‑building abilities across diverse functions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally JD Edwards (JDE).
