About the role
Our client, a manufacturing company based in Fermoy, Co. Cork, is seeking an HR People Partner to join their team on a permanent, fully onsite basis. The role will support managers and employees across the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit, while driving people‑management best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and influence managers on effective people management practices.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and the full employee lifecycle.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Support employee wellbeing, engagement and inclusion initiatives.
- Contribute to Group HR projects, policy updates and process improvements.
Required profile
- 3–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or People Partner.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- Hands‑on experience in employee relations, performance management, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Proficiency with HR information systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of coaching, mentoring and collaborating with managers.
- Full Irish driving licence, own transport and a passport.
