About the role
Our client, a growing multinational organisation, is looking for a hands‑on Human Resources Business Partner to join the team in Athlone. The role supports European operations while collaborating with HR teams in the US and Singapore, delivering high‑quality operational support and contributing to forward‑looking HR practices.
Key responsibilities
- Provide efficient HR operational support across European entities and coordinate with international teams.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, contracts, changes, and off‑boarding – across multiple jurisdictions.
- Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, ensuring a consistent global employee experience.
- Support implementation and alignment of HR policies, procedures, and best practices regionally.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation while aligning with global standards.
- Maintain HR systems, guarantee data accuracy, and produce reliable reports.
- Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and HR documentation.
- Support compensation and benefits administration, including benchmarking, market analysis, and pay reviews.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver effective benefits.
- Contribute to global HR initiatives such as performance management rollout, talent development, and employee engagement projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance scalability across regions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, with a CIPD qualification.
- Approximately 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong operational HR background with exposure to strategic initiatives.
- Experience in compensation and benefits is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in Business English.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
