About the role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Dublin‑based team. You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting managers and employees on employee‑relations and industrial‑relations matters within a highly regulated, unionised environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert HR guidance on employee relations, ensuring decisions are fair, consistent and well documented.
- Manage end‑to‑end ER casework including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, absence, performance and capability issues.
- Support industrial‑relations activities, prepare documentation, attend union meetings and maintain constructive relationships with trade unions.
- Monitor emerging IR trends and risks, delivering proactive, solution‑focused outcomes.
- Assist with internal and external audit activities to keep HR processes audit‑ready.
- Contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and governance.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, regulated and unionised setting.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and best practice in ER and IR.
- Ability to influence and advise senior managers while handling sensitive matters confidentially.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on compliance.
