Human Resources Generalist – HR Operations & Employee Relations

About the role
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to implement HR policies and procedures, partner with business operations, and manage the complete employee lifecycle from induction to exit. The role acts as the primary HR liaison for employee relations, compensation, benefits, and training & development initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Conduct investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings, and coach managers on performance, terminations, and discrimination issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with operations, provide recommendations for corrective actions, and act as an employee advocate.
- Promote employee wellbeing, coordinate employee activities, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Monitor compensation changes, conduct job analysis, and create job descriptions for non‑benchmark positions.
- Communicate benefits changes, educate associates, and manage open enrollment periods.
- Maintain HRIS data, oversee TMS data accuracy, and generate HR reporting as required.
- Participate in strategic HR projects, support plant communication meetings, and uphold safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Required profile
- Proven experience in employee relations, investigations, and grievance handling.
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with HRIS and TMS systems and data management.
- Ability to interpret employment legislation and ensure compliance.
- Experience supporting safety, quality, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
