Incident Response Engineer - AI Trainer

About the role

Join DataAnnotation's DataAnnotation team as an Incident Response Engineer – AI Trainer. You will work remotely with cutting‑edge AI models, evaluating and improving AI‑generated security content while shaping the next generation of AI‑driven cybersecurity tools.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques for real‑world accuracy.
• Design and solve security‑focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear technical explanations and security‑relevant code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences AI security model development.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or government/military cyber operations).
• Some coding experience and comfort navigating/patching a codebase.
• Fluent English with strong writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
