Investment Analyst – Dublin

About the role

The Investment Analyst will support the Head of Investment/Designated Person for Investment Management at Hermes Fund Managers Ireland Limited in Dublin. The role focuses on analysing a range of investment products, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and providing insight to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed portfolio analysis to assess exposures, asset allocations, risk concentrations and performance trends.
• Interpret investment guidelines against regulatory and client mandates, flagging potential breaches.
• Organise and attend calls with portfolio managers to discuss mandates and strategy impacts.
• Analyse market events and regulatory developments to evaluate effects on portfolios and investment processes.
• Support oversight of investment decision‑making across equities, fixed income, derivatives and alternatives.
• Evaluate new investment products and strategies, performing rule‑mapping and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and deliver investment‑focused reports and dashboards for senior management and committees.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects and initiatives across the Irish office and the wider Federated Hermes group.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of data analysis.
• Experience in portfolio analysis and investment product assessment.
• Ability to interpret investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with portfolio managers and senior stakeholders.
