Investment Analyst

About the role

The Investment Analyst will join a newly established investment company focused on supporting Irish‑owned businesses. The role combines commercial analysis, financial modelling and market research to help the firm identify, execute and monitor investment opportunities that align with its social and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the appraisal, execution and ongoing monitoring of investment opportunities.
• Conduct commercial analysis, financial modelling and valuation of target companies.
• Support due‑diligence processes and prepare portfolio performance reports.
• Perform industry and market research to inform investment decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant discipline; postgraduate or professional qualifications are a plus.
• Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Ability to assess complex information quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, investment banking or transaction advisory is beneficial.
