Ireland Financial Lead & Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Lead & Controller for our Irish operations, based in Dublin’s Citywest office. Reporting to the UK&I Finance team, you will partner with sales, marketing and supply‑chain functions to drive performance against key financial KPIs and support the company’s growth agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Ireland P&L, providing financial planning, analysis and controls in partnership with the Irish leadership team.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on revenue, profit and market‑share targets, and evaluate investment proposals.
• Lead the monthly brand‑marketing forecast, manage accruals, budget reallocations and ensure full‑year budget delivery.
• Develop and maintain the S&OP forecast, aligning short‑ and long‑term targets and highlighting focus areas.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on supply‑chain costs, engaging with the European team to analyse cost drivers.
• Support trade‑investment, marketing budgets and innovation projects, ensuring compliance with business‑control procedures.
• Monitor rebates across the customer base, working with CAMs to ensure sufficiency and adherence to compliance.
• Embed transformation processes as the organisation adopts new systems and procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent finance experience.
• Proven experience partnering with sales, marketing or supply‑chain functions in a commercial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience managing P&L responsibility and delivering financial forecasts.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
