IT Systems Administrator – Dublin

About the role

Mason Hayes & Curran, a top‑tier law firm in Dublin Docklands, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join its 11‑person IT team. You will support over 650 staff, ensuring the reliability and security of both on‑premise and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server (2019+) and Microsoft 365 environments, including deployment via Autopilot, SCCM and Intune.
• Manage on‑premises and Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with managed service providers to optimise availability and performance.
• Configure and support Cisco switches, routers, Meraki wireless, VPN (IPSec/SSL) and load‑balancing technologies.
• Implement and audit security tools, patch management, antivirus and firewalls.
• Provide support for legal‑industry applications (iManage, BigHand, Elite 3E) and AV/video‑conferencing solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator in Windows Server and Microsoft 365 cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory (on‑prem and Azure) and related services.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server (2019+), Cisco networking equipment and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with legal‑sector software is an advantage.
• Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate within a team.
