About the role
Based in Dublin and reporting to the Finance Manager, this junior position will support the finance team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. It offers a great entry point for graduates or part‑qualified accountants looking to build a career in a growing multinational insurance and reinsurance business.
Key responsibilities
- Issue financial, regulatory and management reports to a high standard and on time.
- Assist with the monthly and quarterly close processes.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and reconciliations for key balance‑sheet accounts.
- Post general ledger transactions and support VAT calculations.
- Help maintain and develop finance systems, internal controls and drive efficiencies.
Required profile
- Relevant university degree and ambition to obtain an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Motivated self‑starter, team player and strong communicator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
