About the role
The University of Galway invites applications for a Lecturer in Accounting on a specific purpose contract (approximately 9 months). The role involves teaching, examining, research, and contributing to the development of the Accountancy and Finance Discipline.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver teaching and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Engage in research activities aligned with the School's strategic priorities.
- Support administrative tasks and the development of the Accountancy and Finance Discipline.
- Contribute to the intellectual life of the university and the wider community.
Required profile
- PhD in Accountancy or a relevant professional accounting qualification.
- Relevant teaching experience at higher education level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to take initiative and work collaboratively.
