Legal Entity Controller – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Entity Controller with at least three years of post‑qualified experience in financial services. The role will support the finance team by preparing management accounts, analysing performance, and ensuring statutory compliance across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts for several legal entities and manage all related accounting and statutory filing requirements.
• Analyse financial results, comment on variances and provide insight to senior management.
• Lead the annual audit process, coordinate with external auditors and compile financial statements.
• Assist the Head of Finance and CFO with quarterly and annual group audits.
• Oversee transfer pricing and tax compliance for assigned entities.
• Execute monthly and quarterly reconciliations as needed.
• Contribute to finance projects, including the development of new management information, KPI dashboards and reporting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years post‑qualified experience in a similar controller role within financial services.
• Background or training with a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
