Lifeguard Team Leader – Swimming Pool

About the role

Join Center Parcs at Longford Forest as the Lifeguard Team Leader, overseeing the safe and welcoming operation of our heated swimming pool. You will lead a high‑performing team, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support the resort’s financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pool operations and ensure adherence to company standards and safety regulations.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, conduct performance reviews and manage mandatory training.
• Support retail sales and contribute to achieving financial targets.
• Work effectively in hot and humid conditions within the Subtropical Swimming Paradise (heated to 29.5°C year‑round).
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Garda vetting requirements.

Required profile

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard or IWS qualification.
• Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Strong people‑management and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
