Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the industrialization of the new P1 project, improve production efficiency, and share industrial know‑how across the plant. You will work closely with suppliers, design new equipment and lines, and support lean initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the industrialization of the new P1, managing equipment introduction using IPROM.
• Design and validate small tools, define acceptance criteria, and conduct pre‑acceptance and acceptance tests.
• Perform line trials, generate reports, and create action plans for FDPR readiness.
• Collect equipment capabilities, set up validation plans, and contribute to PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Monitor QCDM, propose improvements, and drive cycle‑time reduction.
• Update routing in the information system and support production technicians with training and problem‑solving.
• Collaborate with suppliers on improvements and support, and participate in SPV and APU QRQC workshops.
• Validate and promote corporate standards (PG, RAISE, CdC) and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in industrialization, equipment introduction, and lean manufacturing.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and production staff.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of safety, 5S, and environmental procedures.
