Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant – 16 hrs (Monasterevin)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant to join our Allcare Pharmacy team in Monasterevin. Working 16 hours per week, you will help deliver excellent customer service and support the pharmacist in providing expert medical advice to the community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice across all pharmacy ranges, consulting the pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain stock control, including rotation, appropriate levels, and accurate delivery details.
• Deliver professional, efficient customer service and build strong relationships with pharmacy customers.
• Assist in all areas of pharmacy operations, adapting to the Store Manager’s needs.
• Handle over‑the‑counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and refer to the pharmacist as required.
• Ensure cash and receipt handling follows security procedures.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, tidy, and report health‑and‑safety issues promptly.
• Participate in training programmes and proactively develop the role.
