Research Analyst - Global Equities

About the role

We are seeking a Research Analyst to join a leading investment firm’s global equities team. The role involves analysing listed equities, monitoring portfolio holdings, and uncovering new investment opportunities across worldwide markets and sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and continuously update detailed financial models for portfolio holdings.
• Conduct in‑depth industry, competitor, supplier and market ecosystem research.
• Produce regular investment notes, reports and presentations for the investment team.
• Monitor portfolio companies and relevant industry developments on an ongoing basis.
• Engage with company management teams, investor relations and industry participants.
• Identify new stock ideas and emerging industry themes globally.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the investment team, sharing insights and research findings.

Required profile

• CFA, ACA or similar professional qualification preferred.
• 3–5+ years of fundamental equity research experience, ideally in a buy‑side environment.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capability with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience covering multiple sectors or industries.
• Excellent analytical, written and presentation abilities.
• Ability to synthesise large volumes of information and communicate key investment insights clearly.
• Genuine passion for investing and public markets.
