Senior Cost Accounting Analyst – Contract (Dublin)

About the role

This contract position is within the Global Supply Chain & Cost Accounting function of a leading pharmaceutical company. Based in Dublin, the role supports cost accounting activities across the US, Ireland and India, ensuring accurate costing, pricing and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee global supply chain costing and pricing accuracy in SAP.
• Drive standard cost setting and support annual budget preparation.
• Assist with month‑/quarter‑end inventory close on a global basis.
• Analyse production order and purchase price variances.
• Manage SOX controls across multiple jurisdictions and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Lead and supervise a third‑party shared business service provider.
• Partner with FP&A and cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 4–5+ years of experience in manufacturing or multinational cost accounting.
• Strong experience with SAP cost accounting modules.
• Exposure to SOX compliance is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical abilities and stakeholder management skills.
