Senior Digital Designer (AI-Accelerated)

About the role

Personio is looking for a Senior Digital Designer who combines top‑level visual design, motion, and interaction expertise with a passion for AI‑driven workflows. You will work within the Digital Experience team to raise design quality, lead user research, and build scalable systems that turn ideas into live pages quickly across multiple European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design for web surfaces, from concept to detailed specifications.
• Create high‑fidelity interactive prototypes and motion designs that align teams and reduce ambiguity.
• Develop and maintain a web component and template library for rapid page assembly.
• Design and implement AI‑powered workflows, including prompt‑to‑build pipelines and AI‑assisted design‑to‑code handoffs.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and consider internationalisation for markets such as DE, UK, ES, FR, NL.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to integrate AI‑driven layouts directly into the CMS.

Required profile

• Exceptional visual design sensibility with strong typography, layout, colour, and hierarchy skills.
• Deep understanding of motion design and interaction patterns.
• Enthusiasm for leveraging AI to improve design efficiency and creativity.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams and leading user research.
• Ability to design for accessibility and multilingual markets.
