Senior Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team in County Meath. The role offers a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with excellent work‑life balance for candidates based across Meath and surrounding counties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end purchase order process, from raising to tracking and resolving queries.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance and accurate records.
• Assist in preparing tender documentation, supplier quotations and procurement contracts.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare spend analysis, procurement reports and supplier performance data for decision‑making.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate product trials with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for internal departments and external suppliers, facilitating communication and issue resolution.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement systems and procedures.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and reporting abilities.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on cost optimisation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
