Senior Production Operator – Weekend Shift (Athenry)

About the role

Dexcom is seeking an experienced Senior Production Operator to work weekend shifts in its Athenry clean‑room facility. You will be a Subject Matter Expert on automated and semi‑automated manufacturing lines that produce continuous glucose monitoring devices.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic, semi‑automatic and robotic assembly equipment used in product manufacturing.
• Perform manual tasks such as component handling, material loading and supporting assembly processes.
• Carry out material handling, inspections, quality checks and data entry.
• Maintain and complete GMP quality documentation for medical‑device production.
• Train new associates and support cross‑training programmes.
• Provide communication updates and coaching to line leads and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures, flagging any deviations.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate (or Level 5 equivalent) or comparable qualification.
• 4–6 years experience in medical‑device or cleanroom manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and high dexterity.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
