Senior Unity SDK Developer

About the role

MoveAhead is seeking a Senior Unity SDK Developer to lead the scaling and refinement of its plug‑and‑play Unity SDK. You will work on cutting‑edge motion‑tracking and pose‑estimation technology that powers movement‑based digital play for children, collaborating with a fast‑growing startup that serves world‑recognised brands.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain a high‑performance Unity SDK for real‑time motion tracking.
• Integrate and adapt MediaPipe pipelines (e.g., BlazePose) into Unity‑based systems.
• Create and publish custom Unity packages, ensuring cross‑platform compatibility.
• Profile, optimise, and stabilise Unity applications for mobile devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define technical standards and product road‑maps.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience as a Unity developer with a portfolio of shipped projects.
• Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, signal processing, and real‑time systems.
• Hands‑on experience with computer‑vision or motion‑analysis pipelines.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment (onsite in Dublin and remote).

Required skills

• Unity and C# development.
• MediaPipe, BlazePose, TensorFlow Lite, Mediapipe Unity packages.
• DoTween, UniTask, VContainer.
• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React.
• MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• iOS development with Swift.
• Machine‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch (nice to have).
