Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead construction projects for a leading contractor in Cork. The role focuses on building and fit‑out works, with an advantage for candidates who have worked on life‑science sector projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to advance their career in a growing firm.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with directors, project teams, design teams and subcontractors throughout the project.
• Plan and coordinate all site operations.
• Resource and schedule work and materials in line with the construction programme.
• Provide regular progress reporting.
• Maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
• Maintain all site records, certifications and documentation.
• Work closely with contracts managers, project managers and quantity surveyors, advising on upcoming issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction management or supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate with experience using MS Office.
• Strong managerial and motivational abilities.
• Independent worker who also leads by example within a team.
• Background in carpentry is advantageous.
• Safe Pass (CSCS) certification is a plus.

• Salary range €75,000 – €85,000 depending on experience.
