Staff Nurse – Residential Care Home

About the role

Silver Stream Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join the team at Greenpark Residential Care Home. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and wellbeing in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage resident admissions, discharges, and medication administration following best practices.
• Develop and maintain person‑centred care plans and accurate care notes.
• Supervise mealtimes, feeding, personal care tasks and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Lead a team of Health Care Assistants, allocate duties and monitor performance.
• Participate in in‑house training, emergency response and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Maintain clear, concise records in line with legislation and HIQA standards.
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

Required profile

• Registered on the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBI) with an active PIN.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least 1 year of nursing experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and the Health Act Regulations 2013.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
