Statutory & Compliance Support Specialist (Accounting Manager)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Statutory & Compliance Support Specialist to lead high‑volume statutory filing and audit activities across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines statutory compliance, GAAP reconciliation and tactical finance support to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver statutory filings and supporting schedules for EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
• Act as primary contact for audit requests, coordinating responses and resolving queries.
• Manage relationships with Local Service Providers, ensuring prompt query resolution and complete documentation.
• Reconcile US GAAP to local GAAP treatments, produce commentary and required journal entries.
• Execute intercompany reconciliations, net settlement processes and other month‑end close activities.
• Support implementation and UAT of a secondary ledger on NetSuite or similar ERP, including configuration testing and issue logging.
• Identify process improvements, document procedures and maintain handover packs.
• Liaise with finance, legal, operations, auditors, regulators and external providers, providing clear updates and escalations.

Required profile

• Over 6 years of experience in statutory compliance, financial reporting or audit support across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience reconciling to local GAAPs.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• Self‑starter, highly organized, able to work under pressure in a complex multi‑entity environment.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or similar ERP) – secondary ledger exposure preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
