Supply Chain Specialist – Global External Manufacturing

About the role
Join a global team that ensures essential healthcare products are manufactured and delivered reliably worldwide. You will work in a fast‑paced, highly regulated external manufacturing environment, coordinating with international partners to maintain supply continuity for patients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end supply chain activities for externally manufactured products across multiple partners and regions.
- Serve as the primary interface between external manufacturing sites, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor and maintain supply plans to prevent stock disruptions.
- Coordinate production schedules, inventory levels, and demand signals across a complex global network.
- Support new product introductions and lifecycle management within external manufacturing operations.
- Lead resolution of supply disruptions, escalating when necessary to protect service levels.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and other global regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP platforms and supply planning tools.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost optimisation, and service performance.
Required profile
- Experience in supply chain, planning, or external manufacturing within a regulated environment (pharma, medical devices, FMCG, etc.).
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and supply planning tools.
- Excellent stakeholder‑management skills across global or multi‑site teams.
- Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
