Systems Administrator – IT Infrastructure & Cloud

About the role

Our client in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a well‑established IT function supporting a dynamic professional services organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing core infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and security systems across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server (2019 or later) environments on‑premise and in the cloud.
• Manage Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Provide networking support, including routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and firewall technologies.
• Maintain cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection, and patch management solutions.
• Offer escalation support for technical issues and contribute to IT improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Windows Server 2019+ in hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of AD/AAD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 suite and Azure cloud services.
• Experience supporting SQL Server and enterprise networking.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, endpoint protection, and firewall management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
