Tax Manager – Transaction Tax Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our Transaction Tax team in Dublin. The role offers the chance to work on high‑profile M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, real‑estate projects and complex advisory assignments for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high‑quality tax advice on complex transactions and corporate tax matters.
• Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, transaction structuring, tax due diligence, reorganisations and restructuring projects.
• Prepare and review detailed technical tax reports, providing practical and commercial solutions.
• Support restructuring and insolvency engagements on tax‑related matters.
• Liaise with Revenue authorities on tax controversy and technical issues.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.
• Manage, coach and develop junior team members to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Stay abreast of legislative developments and emerging tax issues.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on business development and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong Irish corporate tax advisory experience gained within a professional services environment.
• Experience advising on transaction tax matters, M&A projects, restructurings or complex corporate tax issues.
• Excellent technical knowledge and problem‑solving ability.
• Proven people‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high‑quality work to tight deadlines.
• Proactive, client‑focused approach with genuine interest in business development.
