Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team at UPS. In this fast‑paced environment you will handle the movement of packages, ensuring they are loaded, unloaded, sorted and stocked efficiently. You will work closely with a talented team, contributing to the smooth flow of shipments and supporting UPS’s commitment to reliable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars.
• Scan, sort and stock packages according to UPS handling methods.
• Operate heavy machinery when required to complete tasks safely.
• Maintain accurate records of package movements.
• Perform additional duties assigned in a high‑volume warehouse setting.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) regularly.
• Capability to read and memorize postal codes.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to five days per week (Monday‑Friday, 15:30‑19:30).
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of UPS package handling procedures.
