Workday Business Analyst – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Workday Business Analyst to support the optimisation of our Workday platform and lead the delivery of the Advanced Compensation module. This 6‑month contract reports to the HR Master Data Lead and can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support Workday optimisation initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline functionality.
• Facilitate workshops, process mapping, and requirements gathering with HR, Reward and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Implement automated solutions that reduce manual processes and align with Workday best practice.
• Create and maintain HR data governance artefacts, including data definitions, controls and quality frameworks.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date process documentation, SOPs, configuration guides and change logs.
• Assist with UAT planning, test script creation and defect management.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Workday HCM, including configuration, tenant review and troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing or enhancing the Workday Advanced Compensation module (merit, bonus, stock).
• Strong capability in process improvement and end‑to‑end HR process flows.
• Ability to work with technical teams to ensure accurate configuration, integration and reporting outcomes.
• Understanding of Core HR, Talent, Compensation and data governance.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and problem‑solving skills.
