Accounting Manager - Aircraft Leasing

About the role

This position is a hands‑on Accounting Manager role within a global finance team of an international aircraft leasing business. You will work in Dublin, supporting complex transactions and technical accounting in a fast‑paced commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead elements of the monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare statutory and management reporting under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure process compliance.
• Support finance‑system improvements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders and wider business functions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CPA or equivalent).
• 5‑8 years post‑qualification experience in leasing, capital‑intensive or asset‑backed environments.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of leases, consolidation and fair‑value measurement.
• Comfortable working in a multinational, deadline‑driven setting.
• Collaborative, detail‑oriented and commercially astute.
