Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Dublin team and support global accounting and financial reporting for a leading aircraft leasing business. The role is hands‑on, requiring strong technical accounting expertise and a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage elements of the monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS for internal and external reporting.
• Support statutory and management reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
• Interface with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
• Maintain internal controls, policies, procedures and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate across departments and contribute to financial systems development and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACA or equivalent qualification.
• 5‑8 years of experience in aircraft leasing, aviation finance or capital equipment leasing.
• Strong understanding of lease accounting standards, consolidation and fair‑value accounting.
• Experience working in a multinational organisation; knowledge of Japanese ownership structures is a plus.
• High ethical standards and ability to work accurately under pressure.
