Applied Machine Learning Scientist

About the role

StackAdapt is looking for an Applied Machine Learning Scientist to join its engineering team and help drive advertising performance through innovative AI solutions. You will work on a platform that processes millions of requests per second, creating and improving algorithms that maximize ROI for marketers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop novel machine‑learning algorithms, from concept to production.
• Improve state‑of‑the‑art methods to enhance advertising performance.
• Write production‑grade code, often collaborating with data engineers.
• Prototype, test, and iterate algorithms and pipelines using historical data.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, actionable steps.
• Strong understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in coding, data structures, and algorithms.
• Enjoys working in a collaborative, friendly environment.
