Architect (Part II / Part III) – Galway

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established architectural practice in Galway to hire an Architect (Part II / Part III). The role involves contributing to a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of projects from concept to completion.
• Prepare drawings, 3D models and presentation material using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support planning applications, tender documentation and construction‑stage information.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning requirements and relevant standards.
• Participate in client meetings and design team discussions.
• Contribute to overall design quality and technical delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture (RIBA/RIAI accredited or equivalent).
• Part II or Part III qualification (or working towards Part III).
• Experience working within an architectural practice.
• Strong design, technical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach to project delivery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit (or similar BIM software)
