About the role
Trinity College Dublin seeks an Assistant Professor to join its Discipline of Radiation Therapy. The role combines teaching, research, outreach and administrative duties within a leading university environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in radiation therapy.
- Develop and lead a research programme aligned with the discipline’s clinical and translational priorities.
- Secure external research funding and build collaborations with clinicians, physicists and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to departmental administration, curriculum development and student supervision.
- Engage in outreach activities to promote the discipline locally and internationally.
Required profile
- PhD or equivalent in radiation therapy or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience working in a radiation therapy clinical department.
- Strong record of research publications and a clear plan for future research.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching and student mentorship.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary academic environment.
