AWS DevOps Engineer – Dublin/Remote (2 days onsite per week)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level AWS DevOps Engineer to join our Dublin‑based platform team, working on a hybrid model with two days onsite per week. The role involves collaborating with developers, quality engineers and architects to design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications.
• Automate deployment, monitoring and security processes using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Maintain and evolve Kubernetes clusters, including scaling, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform, ensuring reproducible environments.
• Participate in incident response and provide root‑cause analysis.
• Work closely with architects to embed security‑by‑design across the platform.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of commercial experience in a Platform/DevOps environment.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong background with AWS services and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python (or Go) for automation tasks.
• Evidence‑based approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
