Helpdesk Engineer – 1st/2nd Level Support (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for a Helpdesk Engineer to join our team in Dublin 15. You will provide first‑ and second‑level support to a varied client base, both remotely and on‑site, and take part in Office 365 and Azure migration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st line support to end users across Windows, macOS, iOS, and virtual desktop environments.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Provide setup, configuration and troubleshooting for macOS devices and iPhones.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as user creation, password resets and group management.
• Log, track and resolve tickets within agreed SLAs, escalating when necessary.
• Provide onsite support as required.
• Support senior engineers with small project tasks and device deployments.
• Follow established procedures to maintain security, compliance and operational standards.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a Level‑1 IT support or service desk environment.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Exposure to virtual desktop environments such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix or VMware Horizon.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Slack.
• Background in a Managed Service Provider environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Microsoft certifications are beneficial but not essential.
