Business Development Manager – Construction Hire Services

About the role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business (approximately 60% of the role) and expanding existing accounts (around 40%). You will build and nurture relationships with main contractors, subcontractors and key decision‑makers across the construction sector, promoting the full range of hire products.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development and achieve sales targets.
• Manage and grow existing client accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and decision‑makers.
• Promote the complete hire product portfolio and identify cross‑sell opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to maximise revenue.
• Cover a territory that includes Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Laois, with a focus on Greater Dublin.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the construction sector.
• Proven experience with cold‑calling on construction sites.
• Ability to manage your own diary and work autonomously.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary between €50,000 and €65,000 per year.
• On‑target earnings (OTE) of €70,000‑€80,000, uncapped commission.
• Car allowance or company vehicle.
