Business Development Manager

About the role

This position is focused on driving enterprise growth within the global payments and fintech ecosystem. You will identify, engage and close strategic enterprise clients across key European markets, helping them access a unified payment infrastructure that simplifies global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure across European markets.
• Identify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, industry events and referrals.
• Engage C‑level and senior stakeholders with consultative sales approaches tailored to complex enterprise needs.
• Collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Solutions Engineers to design proposals and ensure smooth implementation handover.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipelines (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and provide strong forecasting.
• Stay up‑to‑date on payments, fintech trends and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise business development or complex B2B sales environments.
• Strong track record of closing large enterprise deals with long sales cycles.
• Solid understanding of payment technologies, financial services ecosystems and relevant regulations.
• Experience in startup or scale‑up environments, able to build pipeline independently.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a strong plus.
