About the role
The CAMO Engineer is responsible for maintaining the airworthiness of the airline's fleet, ensuring all operational and emergency equipment is serviceable, and managing the Aircraft Maintenance Programme in line with EASA regulations. This role involves close coordination with maintenance organisations, manufacturers, and internal departments to guarantee compliance and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor airworthiness status of each aircraft and ensure equipment serviceability before dispatch.
- Develop, amend and control the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) according to EASA regulations.
- Plan and oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including major events and base maintenance visits.
- Manage life‑limited parts (LLP), hard‑time components (HT), airworthiness limitations and certification requirements.
- Coordinate MEL, CDL, pre‑flight inspection and test‑flight procedures, including delivery and redelivery processes.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, data in AMOS and other approved systems, and liaise with contracted MROs.
- Provide inputs and statistical analyses for the Reliability Programme and monitor its effectiveness.
- Approve, control and schedule non‑routine and deferred maintenance tasks.
- Implement Airworthiness Directives, Operational Directives and other regulatory obligations.
- Coordinate technical issues with manufacturers, flight operations and other departments.
- Participate in material planning, invoice verification and recertification of complex assemblies.
- Act as on‑site CAMO representative during base checks and support aircraft acceptance.
- Support ARC process, technical investigations and assigned technical projects.
Required profile
- Recognised aeronautical engineering qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience in an airline, CAMO or MRO environment.
