Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Onsite Hardware Production

About the role

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead on‑site support for new product launches and ongoing production across Europe. You will work closely with Design Partners, contract manufacturers and internal hardware and software teams to ensure production and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing technical operations support for Design Partners.
• Provide on‑site assistance for new product introductions (NPIs) and sustainment issues.
• Design for quality and manufacturability of servers and rack systems.
• Root‑cause customer‑impacting issues and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers, component vendors and internal AWS teams to improve incoming hardware quality.
• Travel up to 50% to manufacturing sites across Europe.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fast‑paced, multi‑platform international manufacturing environments.
• Ability to take full ownership of manufacturing launches and resolve process issues.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on‑site.
