About the role
Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) is looking for a motivated Circular Economy Learning & Development Specialist on a 23‑month contract. You will join the L&D team to design, develop, deliver and evaluate innovative training solutions that help Irish manufacturers adopt circular economy principles.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver virtual classroom, in‑person workshops, master classes and online modules using cutting‑edge learning technologies.
- Conduct needs analyses to identify skill gaps across manufacturing sectors in Ireland and Europe.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Create assessments and evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Circular Economy Innovation team to align content with technical expertise.
- Incorporate adult‑learning principles and stay agile to emerging sustainability trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Learning & Development or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering training content.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with technical experts.
- Strong analytical skills for needs assessment and evaluation.
Required skills
- Experience with virtual classroom platforms and e‑learning authoring tools.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
- Familiarity with circular economy concepts and sustainability practices.
