About the role

Siemens EDA is building a green‑field high‑performance computing (HPC) solution in the cloud to run chip‑design software securely. As a Cloud Software Engineer you will help design, develop and automate cloud‑native components that support both customer‑managed and internally managed environments across public, private and hybrid clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Review, understand and create cloud software components written in Golang, Java, Python and C++.
• Champion and support a culture of building secure, performant, large‑scale infrastructure and applications.
• Work in a Scrum team with fellow engineers to develop core software components for internal and external customers.
• Implement proof‑of‑concepts to validate approaches and techniques.
• Validate and ensure the security of cloud infrastructure.
• Investigate technology choices required by Siemens EDA and its customers.
