Construction Manager – Residential Projects

About the role

The Land Development Agency (LDA) is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a portfolio of transformative residential and regeneration projects across Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will oversee the construction phase from planning through delivery, ensuring projects meet quality, budget and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery for multiple residential developments, coordinating with development managers during planning and detailed design.
• Manage design and construction teams, controlling technical, program and budget aspects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and milestone programmes.
• Engage with stakeholders including local authorities, development partners and utility providers.
• Ensure contractor and consultancy compliance with contracts and planning conditions.
• Oversee large‑scale main contractors and design consultants.
• Handle planning permission, fire certificate and disability access certificate applications.
• Identify commercial savings through innovative design, planning and procurement strategies.

Required profile

• Proven technical and commercial acumen in delivering large residential projects.
• Strong team‑player with high work ethic, adaptability and leadership capability.
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary design and construction teams.
