Senior Project Manager – Energy & Gas Infrastructure

About the role

ENG Bauen is supporting a major energy infrastructure programme in Ireland and is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead critical gas and utility capital projects across Cork and Dublin. The role sits at the interface between project delivery, governance and senior stakeholder management in a highly regulated, safety‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder management for major gas and infrastructure capital projects.
• Act as the primary interface between delivery teams, senior leadership and governance functions.
• Support board‑level reporting, project visibility and executive communications.
• Manage programme alignment across scope, cost, schedule, risk and delivery objectives.
• Coordinate activities with engineering, operations, HS&E, commercial and external contractor teams.
• Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Oversee contractor coordination, change management and project reporting.
• Maintain clear communication flow between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years’ project management experience in utilities, gas, energy, infrastructure or regulated industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in safety‑critical project environments, client‑side or owner‑side delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders across operational and leadership structures.
• Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, commercial control and programme management.
• Ability to translate technical delivery into clear business and operational insight.
