Customer Assistant – Early Morning Shifts

About the role

Lidl is looking for enthusiastic Customer Assistants to join the Claregalway store on early‑morning shifts. You will help create a smooth, friendly shopping experience for every customer while keeping the store well stocked and tidy.

Key responsibilities

• Stock shelves and prepare bakery items before opening.
• Maintain clean, hygienic store environment and follow freshness and rotation principles.
• Assist customers on the shop floor, answer queries and operate tills efficiently.
• Follow stock loss controls and support stock count processes.
• Manage waste correctly and ensure all safety standards are met.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong customer service focus.
• Reliability and willingness to work early morning shifts (starting at 5 am or 6 am).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Minimum age of 18 (required to sell alcohol).
