Key Account Manager – Fluid Control Solutions (Connacht)

About the role

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to lead and grow strategic accounts across the life sciences, semiconductor and high‑spec manufacturing sectors in Connacht. Based in Galway, you will act as the technical sales champion, delivering end‑to‑end fluid control solutions that meet complex customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage long‑term relationships with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Identify, qualify and close high‑value projects, guiding them from concept through design, specification, installation and after‑sales support.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers, project teams and procurement to create tailored technical solutions.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, forecast revenue and achieve annual targets, including bonus objectives.
• Travel nationwide as required to support customer meetings, site visits and project reviews.

Required profile

• Proven track record in technical or solution‑based sales, preferably within life sciences, semiconductor or precision manufacturing.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multi‑stakeholder relationships and long sales cycles.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Based in the Republic of Ireland with a full, clean driving licence.

Required skills

• Understanding of fluid systems, valves and fittings.
• Technical aptitude for engineering components used in high‑spec applications.
